Terms & Conditions – 15% Off Roof Replacements (Gauteng Only)

🟦 Offer Terms in Detail:

1. Offer Validity

This promotion applies to full roof replacement projects (not repairs or partial upgrades) for both residential and commercial properties within Gauteng.

Valid from 17 June 2025 to 7 July 2025, or while booking slots remain available.

Clause 1.1: Offer applicable only to new clients.

Clause 1.2: To qualify for the 15 % promotional discount, the client must accept the written quotation in writing (e-mail or e-signature) on or before 7 July 2025.

No payment is required at the point of quotation acceptance.

Clause 1.3: Deposit Due Date.

A 50 % deposit becomes payable only three (3) business days prior to the agreed commencement date stated in the Booking Confirmation.

If the deposit is not received by close of business on that day, Environmental Pro Construction reserves the right to release the allocated slot and the promotional discount will lapse.

1.3.1: Secure Trust Handling.

Deposits are held in a designated project account and applied solely to materials procurement and preparatory costs for the client’s project.

1.3.2: Cooling-Off & Refund.

The client may cancel in writing within five (5) business days of paying the deposit and receive a full refund, less any non-returnable custom-ordered materials, in compliance with Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

Clause 1.4: Balance of Payment.

The remaining 50 % is due upon final completion of the works and issuance of the Engineer’s Compliance Certificate (SANS 10400). No final invoice will be issued until this certification is delivered to the client.

2. Scope of Discount

The 15% discount includes the full roof replacement service:

• Labour and roofing materials

• Waterproofing membranes and installation

• Insulation (if specified)

• Scaffolding setup and dismantling

• Engineer compliance certification and sign-off

All components must be part of the final quotation for the discount to apply.

Clause 2.1: Partial or labour-only projects do not qualify.

Clause 2.2: The 15% discount is applied to a standard market-related quotation that includes all required components as defined above. The baseline quote must reflect prevailing industry pricing for full roof replacements in Gauteng.

3. Structural Disclaimer – Site Dependent

This promotional offer strictly excludes any hidden or latent structural damage to components such as trusses, beams, rafters, purlins, or roof decking. These items fall outside the scope of the discounted roof replacement offer and will be addressed independently following inspection.

All projects are subject to a mandatory on-site inspection by EPC prior to acceptance. Any structural defects identified during or after inspection will be quoted separately, and no roofing works shall proceed until such defects are remedied to the satisfaction of the overseeing engineer.

Clause 3.1: No discount applies to additional structural repair costs.

Clause 3.2: EPC reserves the right to suspend works without penalty until all structural concerns have been resolved and written confirmation of safety is obtained, either through internal review or engineer sign-off.

4. Engineer Oversight

All roof replacements under this offer are supervised and certified by a registered Pr.Eng (Professional Engineer) to ensure compliance with SANS 10400 building regulations.

For structures exceeding standard residential scale or exhibiting complex design, final pricing may be subject to adjustment based on the registered engineer’s structural assessment and material specification review.

Clause 4.1: Engineer compliance certification will be issued upon confirmed completion of the works and receipt of full final payment.

Clause 4.2: For structures exceeding 150 m², EPC requires a site-specific engineer inspection prior to commencement.

No works shall proceed until this inspection is conducted and confirmed in writing.

5. Free Inspections

EPC provides free, no-obligation roof inspections within Gauteng, specifically in the West Rand, Roodepoort, Randburg, and nearby surrounding areas.

For properties located outside these zones, reasonable call-out fees may apply. All such fees will be clearly disclosed and agreed upon in writing prior to any inspection.

Clause 5.1: Inspection bookings are subject to availability and may be scheduled at EPC’s discretion in accordance with workload and resource capacity.

Clause 5.2: A free inspection does not imply project acceptance or approval under this promotional offer. Quotations will only be issued following full assessment and internal review.

6. Transparent Pricing

EPC provides clients with a comprehensive written quotation detailing all costs related to labour, roofing materials, waterproofing systems, insulation (if applicable), scaffolding, engineer certification, and associated support services.

All quotations are valid for 7 calendar days from date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing.

Clause 6.1: Any and all price adjustments, whether due to material specification, site conditions, or structural findings, will be disclosed and documented in writing for client approval prior to implementation.

Clause 6.2: Changes in project scope post-inspection, including optional upgrades or safety-related amendments, shall only proceed with written agreement by both parties.

Final pricing remains subject to revision based on engineer inspection, site-specific conditions, or material specification changes, and will be communicated transparently.

7. Payment Terms

• 50% deposit is required no later than three (3) business days before the scheduled start date of works.

• 50% balance is payable upon completion of the works and issuance of the engineer’s compliance certificate (SANS 10400).

⚠️ No work shall commence until a signed quote acceptance and written proof of deposit are received.

Clause 7.1: Failure to pay the required deposit on time may result in forfeiture of the allocated booking or delay of commencement. All delays will be communicated and rescheduled subject to availability.

Clause 7.2: All payments must be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the nominated business account. Proof of payment must be submitted via email or WhatsApp for confirmation.

To secure a booking under this promotional offer, the following payment structure applies:

Clause 7.3: – Refund Rights - Clients may cancel in writing within five (5) business days of deposit payment for a full refund, less any non-refundable costs incurred, in accordance with Section 17 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

8. Service Area Limitations

This promotional offer is strictly limited to properties located within Gauteng Province.

Although Environmental Pro Construction operates across South Africa, this specific 15% discount cannot be transferred to or applied outside Gauteng, regardless of project approval status.

Clause 8.1: The discount offer is only valid for projects located within Gauteng. Projects located outside Gauteng, even if accepted or quoted, are not eligible for this promotional rate.

Clause 8.2: For any inspection or project request beyond Gauteng’s borders, additional travel fees and logistics costs will apply. These will be disclosed upfront and quoted separately prior to any commitment.

9. Right to Amend or Cancel

Environmental Pro Construction reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotional offer at any time, without prior notice, for any reason including but not limited to changes in material costs, supplier availability, or market conditions.

Clause 9.1: If a formal quotation is accepted and the required deposit has been received, the offer becomes binding and will be honoured under the terms agreed upon, regardless of subsequent promotional amendments or cancellations.

Clause 9.2: All bookings are subject to material availability, workforce capacity, and project demand. EPC reserves the right to limit the number of discounted projects to ensure service delivery standards.

Clause 9.3: In the event of supplier-related delays, material shortages, or force majeure, EPC may revise the timeline in writing. Clients will be informed promptly, and reasonable extensions will be granted where necessary.

Clause 9.4: This offer is limited to a fixed number of projects. Once capacity is reached, EPC reserves the right to withdraw the offer to maintain quality and turnaround times.

10. 5-Year Workmanship Guarantee

All qualifying roof replacements under this promotional offer are backed by a 5-Year Workmanship Guarantee, covering the integrity of EPC's installation work and compliance with SANS 10400 standards.

• Defects in workmanship directly resulting from improper installation or application

• Water ingress or leaks due to installer error (excluding maintenance or storm-related ingress)

• Roofing membrane failures linked to workmanship (not material failure)

• Misaligned tiles, improper sealing, or fastening defects due to EPC's workmanship

❌ This Guarantee Excludes:

• Storm, hail, wind, flood, fire, or acts of God

• Structural shifts or deterioration outside EPC’s scope of work

• Any repairs, alterations, or interference by third parties not appointed or approved by Environmental Pro Construction

• Damage resulting from poor maintenance, blocked gutters, overgrowth, or debris accumulation

• General wear-and-tear or degradation of materials beyond the manufacturer’s coverage

📑 Submission of Claims:

⚠️ Conditions of the Guarantee:

• The guarantee is valid only upon full payment of the agreed quotation and successful engineer sign-off

• All workmanship claims must be submitted in writing within 7 calendar days of the issue being discovered

• The guarantee is non-transferable and applies solely to the original client and property at the time of installation

• EPC reserves the right to inspect all reported issues, and determine eligibility before scheduling any repair or remedial work

• No warranty work will proceed unless written documentation (including photos) is submitted by the client

✅ This Guarantee Covers:

All claims must be submitted via email with photographs, a written description of the fault, and supporting documents (where applicable). Warranty work will be scheduled in line with urgency, labour availability, and project scheduling queues.

11. Manufacturer Material Warranties

All roofing materials supplied and installed under this promotion are sourced from reputable suppliers and carry full manufacturer warranties as applicable.

EPC guarantees that:

• Materials are purchased directly from certified suppliers

• No substitute or knock-off materials are used in place of the specified brand or product

• All product warranties, datasheets, and installation guidelines are available to the client upon request

⛔ EPC is not liable for:

• Material defects or failures covered under the manufacturer’s warranty

• Premature aging or wear due to extreme weather events or product misuse outside of installation scope

• Claims not reported to the manufacturer within their specified claim period

📌 Supporting Notes:

• Manufacturer warranties vary by product (e.g., 10 to 20 years) and are subject to terms listed by the product provider

• EPC will assist clients in lodging a claim with the manufacturer if a defect arises

• Copies of warranty certificates or batch codes are available upon material delivery or project completion
